TRAIL CONDITIONS: Many bare spots, all trails open, please ride with caution. Creek crossings remain OK.
TEMPERATURE/WEATHER: Weather availble on line. Very Mild conditions, Click Here for current weather
GROOMING: Grooming has been discontinued, unless we get a monumental snow storm.
LAKE TRAILS: Adequate ice in all areas, all winter lake trails marked and groomed, no overflow on marked trails. Very thin ice reported in the Tyone Channel, and areas where water is flowing under the ice.
LAKE CONDITIONS: Be aware of overflow and ice blocks, where ice fishermen have been active. The East end of Bird Island is really bad, big holes and ice blocks. Very thin ice reported in the Tyone Channel, and areas where water is flowing under the ice. Lake is in very good condition, the snow is holding well.
GENERAL: Watch for thin ice in channel areas and around creeks. Be aware of natural hazards on the trails.
Please respect the trail markers, they can be a winter lifeline. Louise Winter Lakes Trail marked ever ½ mile with 8ft. fiberglass markers, volunteers welcome and needed to mark every tenth mile.
